Guest guest
My daughter was the Queen of Stink with her gas problem. We found a natural supplement at my local heath food store called " GAS " by Hyland's. They are little tablets that melt under you tonge and they work really well. gas problems > Hi, does anyone have a suggestion for gas, Machaela is going thru > chelation and lately she seems to have such problems with gas, she > will grunt like she is pushing for bm and then gas may come out or > may not...does seem like she is in pain but she just seems like she > is trying to push out gas or sometimes a small amount of bm comes > out..I am using oil of oregano caps 2 x per day also we use culturelle > and acidopolus pearls, and also use gse a few times a week..we also > have her on HNI enzymes..should I increase the Zyme prime at each > meal or am I using to much Oil of oregano caps??? please any > suggestions or has this happened to anyone else??? > **has anyone used beano?? should i try this?? > Thanks > > > > > >
Guest guest
; The best suggestion for gas problems is to not cover up the problem, but find out what foods are causing the gas and GET RID OF THEM. These kids have bad guts to begin with. If something is causing gas than it means the food is not being digested properly. It also means that the bad bacteria are feasting well-something you don't want. Take a good look and I am sure you will find other problems that occur right around the times of bad gas. Get rid of the foods, stop deeding the gut bugs, and you will help your child out the most. Guest guest
It depends which procedure the patient had. If it was a BPD/DS, gas & smelly stools are common--the patient needs to decrease fat intake to decrease symptoms. If the gas is painful I usually just recommend OTC simethicone. Hope this helps!
