its a cross linked sugar that can feed bad bacteria.

wether its an issue or not depends on quantity and there may not be

much in a probiotic

you would proably have to talk to the manufacturer to find out more.

Someone on this list told me it was derived from corn which can be bad for

children who have an allergy to it. When I gave probiotics with this in it

to my daughter, it made her go ballistic.
