Guest guest
Hello. Can't remember who told me this, but probiotics should be given when the antibiotics are at their weakest. For example. If antibiotics are given 3x/day (every 8 hrs) then probiotics would be given about 2 hrs. before the next dose of antibiotics. I hope I came across clear on that. Also, our Ped. told us that when it says 3x/day, that means every 8 hrs, because antibiotics work best when the level in the body is kept at a constant as compared to taking it 8am, 12n and 4 pm. Good luck. TinaB > Hi Everyone, I just got back from the pediatrician. All three of > my kids have strep throat. They will all be taking Duricef > (antibiotic) 2 times a day for 10 days.
