I have never used stevia. Splenda is so plentiful and cheap (now available

in crystal form in regular supermarkets) that there is no need to go

searching out stevia IMHO. Splenda has been highly recommended by those

long time CRONers in the " know " , so I use it. Zero calories and tastes just

like sugar (in fact made from sugar). I find I use much less than I would

sugar; whether because it's sweeter or because I have lost my taste for

things too sweet, I don't know.

Steve: Indeed most of us use sucralose or splenda. Stevia is also used by

some. Xylitol is another favorite sweetner. I suggest you read the CR

Support List files.

To access the files: just go to our home page:

/

At the left, click on " files " . Then click on the file you want to read.

Thats all there is to it. The files are jam packed with useful information.

Or you can search the archives for splenda or sucralose. To search the

archives, go to the above home page and put the word or words you are

searching for in the search box and click on " search archive " .

Derived from stevia, an herb, stevia powder is a good sugar substitute

because it doesn't raise one's blood sugar. It's WAY sweeter than sugar

and should be used carefully. Too much is bitter.

Also, PULLEEZE trim unnecessary wording from previous posts before you

hit send. Some of us get the digest.
