Hello and Francesca,

I would also avoid vit.E several weeks before surgery as well as Gingko as

both of these cause blood thinning. I believe the same goes for Ibuprofen.

Vit. K seems to enhance blood clotting (faster healing, less bleeding). I

don't know if it would be a safe protocol to take this in small quantities

before the big day. Against popular mythology, topical vitamin E retards

wound healing.

As Francesca said, diet is very important!

Maybe Lef site has protocols?

best wishes

MM

Leah. blepharophimosis 's surgery

Hi all,Well 's second surgery is tomorrow! It was cancelled once before because she got sick. Well she has a cough now, and at first they cancelled it again. Now it is back on for tomorrow. She was cleared by her Dr. to go ahead and do it. I am very nervous. What if it doesn't look good- and all that... She is having the epicanthal surgery. Well wish us luck! I will send pictures for you all as the days progress.God Bless
