Hello group. I am a lurker to this group. I need some help and

advice badly.

I have a dilemma. Twice in the last 10 days my daughter, 4 1/2 yrs.,

has reverted to smearing the dreaded feces. She's exceptionally

hyper and wild, much more so than usual, has big, dark circles under

her eyes again, and is grinding her teeth constantly (always has but

is much worse). She's jumping off EVERYTHING she can climb.

We have assumed many factors could attribute after discussions with

some great minds and since it's happened again I have some questions

for you.

First - She's been chewing her hair for about two months, to the

point it's chewed off in a face frame and she's now working on the

back. Is it possible that ingesting this hair, given we are

chelating with MTP now, is redepositing metals into her system???

Second - We began calcium supplements about two weeks ago, maybe

more like three now. Within a week the feces smearing emerged. Is

it possible that a calcium supplement could have this effect?

Third - We got a new furnace and started running the heat in the

last two weeks. It was mentioned to me this could be a factor. Can

anyone elaborate on what they might know about that? Does anyone use

air purifiers? If so, did you notice a difference?

Fourth and FInal - My daughter takes every supplement well except B6

types. Recently, she took to liking mustard alot and I am able to

hide the pill in the mustard. B6 has previously freaked her right

out but I have not been giving it consistently. Are there some

children who are contraindicated to B6? I thought I read something

about undermethylators not always doing very well on this. Can

anyone expound on that?

Thanks. Sorry so much detail. She's really quite out of sorts and I

am at my wits end trying to get some relief from it.

Michele
