Guest guest
Hello Francesca, How is the sleep going after being on the CR for a while? You mentioned that there were changes. I would be interested in what you have discovered. Also, found out today that the Xyrem (GHB) product will probably be approved by the FDA in April/2001, and will be on the market in May/2001. For those of you who are wondering, this product helps people who have narcolepsy, and is also a profound sleep aid for those of us who sometimes struggle late into the night and early into the next day. There is also some discussion about possible health and life extending properties of the product because it causes an increase in GH release. (See http://www.smart-drugs.com/WardDeanArticles.htm for details. I don't know any details so please don't ask. I only mention this here because I look forward to the product being made legal again. No other reason.) Bye the way, I have clearly lost 5 lbs over the past month, (not water weight). I am pleased about that. Have more energy, and interestingly, feel more cold in hands and feet. Did anyone else out there start to feel cooler in the body as a result of CR within the first months? I am being quite careful about how fast the weight is coming off. I believe when I get down to 160 lbs, will be tapering things off a little. Maby going for 3-4 pounds a month until I get down under 150 lbs; then much slower. (I think my target CR weight is around 138 lbs. Was there once when 21 years old, but was malnurished and sick. Not fun!) A.

Just notice that I am taking Remeron less often (a sleep prescription product that some of us who don't sleep well, rely on) > Also, found out today that the Xyrem (GHB) product will probably be > approved by the FDA in April/2001, and will be on the market in May/2001. > For those of you who are wondering, this product helps people who have > narcolepsy, and is also a profound sleep aid for those of us who sometimes > struggle late into the night and early into the next day. It seems to be a characteristic of the men only (just like lowered testosterone and libido) I don't notice it and none of the other women have reported it that I know of. Perhaps it's because men have lower bodyfat than women and on CR of course it's even lower, but noone is knows for sure why this happens. Joanne? Or anyone other women? Have you noticed sensitivity to cold? Bob - is your irritability symptom improving? Do you think it's because you went off all that sugar (my best guess!)? Guest guest
Hello , I have been practicing CR for about three months now on 1800 cal per day. I started at 151 lbs and am now down to about 144 lbs. I have noticed that my feet became intolerably cold in the evenings. I keep my house at 65 degrees but in my study (a corner room) where I work in the evening the temperature is more like 60. The rest of my body is fine (I dress warmly) and I solved the foot problem by wearing thick wool socks and rubbers over my shoes. Now they're toasty! S.
