Weirdest thing happend to me two days ago: I was feeling cold, and decided

to take my temperature. I was 1.5 degrees under normal. Didn't feel

anything that would indicate sickness or anything, just that I was colder.

Yesterday the temperature was fine, and today I think it is fine as well.

However, my hands and feet do get cold.

Why I was under temperature like that is strange. The only thing I can

think of is that my circadian rhythms are way way out, or it was just a

fluke. I am enjoying this CR experience actually because as different

things happen, I get lots of practice listening to my body and trying to

understand what is going on.

Hello ,

I have been practicing CR for about three months now on 1800 cal per

day. I started at 151 lbs and am now down to about 144 lbs. I have noticed

that my feet became intolerably cold in the evenings. I keep my house at 65

degrees but in my study (a corner room) where I work in the evening the

temperature is more like 60. The rest of my body is fine (I dress warmly)

and I solved the foot problem by wearing thick wool socks and rubbers over

my shoes. Now they're toasty!

Did anyone else out there start to feel cooler in the body as a result of

CR within the first months? I am being quite careful about how fast the

weight is coming off. I believe when I get down to 160 lbs, will be

tapering things off a little. Maby going for 3-4 pounds a month until I

get down under 150 lbs; then much slower. (I think my target CR weight is

around 138 lbs. Was there once when 21 years old, but was malnurished and

sick. Not fun!)
