scary. I was looking at his cheeks, when the light

revealed small flesh colored bumps on his forehead and along his hairline, we've

called it chicken skin in the past. I've seen similar

bumps on his stomach, I've had some on my arms. But this is on his face. Anyone

seen this with CLO, glutathion, glutamine,

monolaurin, zinc or DMG?

I am fighting this for #4, and to some extent #3, right now. The Lauricidin

[monolaurin] " sort of " helped, but it had other side effects

which were not good, even with enzymes [and I gave it 2 weeks, to see if it was

die off]. But olive leaf extract works well for them, so

yesterday I dropped the Lauricidin and kept the OLE, now the bumps are getting

better and the nasty side effects of the Laurcidin are

almost gone.

So probably viral, at least for my kids.

[PS - #2 seems to need both Lauricidin AND olive leaf extract, but his viral

issues are not skin related.]

I so completely appreciate this. It's difficult when you have a whole host

of supplements going, to know what's going on. I found it though, and I'm

amazed that I discovered it last night. I was trying to remember what

finally cleared the bumps on his stomach up, and in going through my journal

I found the passage. Seems it was one of the last changes I made prior to

seeing Dr. Goldberg this year. We eliminated the Tide detergent, and used

Dreft for everything. Well, we went to the snow recently, and the snow gear

throws my machine out of whack, so we use my Mom's front load washing

machine. Well, his beanie ( I've bought him several for the cold weather

months) was washed with our snow clothes, and my Mom uses Tide. He wore his

red beanie yesterday and the day before. This explains the forehead and

hairline bumps. I'm so excited. I believe I've found the source of his red

cheeks. My mini dachshund broke out something awful recently, and I've come

to the conclusion it is the carpet shampoo I'm using. It's the gentlest most

hypo allergenic formula I could find, but apparently it's still too much.

ph's cheeks are fine in the morning, and all the way up until we do our

therapy, and that takes place in our living room, which I've had to shampoo

three times in the past couple of months. It took the Tide issue for me to

examine the timing of his cheeks flaring up in relation to anything other

than his supplements. Sometimes I get such tunnel vision. I'm going to

reintroduce the OLE, OoO and GSE in rotation again. Continue with his foods

unchanged, and keep him at my Mom's the next couple of days. If his cheeks

stay clear, I'll know for sure. Thank you to everyone for your help. -----

Before starting biomed, I was using Resolve to clean the carpet. I'm almost

positive it caused problems. Now there's no carpet in the house and I clean the

rugs with Nature's Miracle (enzymes!) or every once in a blue moon I rent one

of those steamers and just use water. Now I'm much less afraid of dirt than I

am of the chemicals to get rid of it.

LOL Nell me too! No carpets at all and only one rug in our house. We have

tiles and underfloor heating now - so much easier to keep clean anyways :)
