Guest guest
Hello, I had a meeting with my daughter's pediatrician. The good news is he is at least open and realizes that there is much more to be learned in the area of medicine, but admitted he know nothing real concrete about the area of yeast overgrowth or leaky gut. He did listen attentively as I did my best to tell him what I believe is going on with our daughter. He mentioned that oen would think if there was something to the area of yeast overgrowth causing systemic problems, or foods (such as gluten/casein) being linked to all of this then there would probably be case studies. He at least is open to reading things I can give him. He sees a lot of autistic children so I really want to do my best to be able to present data that will at least spark the notion. Does any one know if there are any case studies out there that have been published discussing any of these areas? And/or if there was anything else someone might recommend I send him. Better yet I'd love to get him on one of these groups, if nothing else just to lurk. Might not be scientific, but enough testimonies from parents expressing that SOMETHING is going on here! Thanks, Kari
