My " sour " was lemon in water and sour balls candy. My " sweet " was Skittles - I couldn't get enough of them. I went through a spicy stage and a stage where I craved shrimp. Lots of weird stuff. Sometimes lately I just crave a sweet pickle which isn't horrible, horrible in the sodium area when you eat just one . Of course nobody warned me that my appetite would increase on prednisone so I have to start battling that weight along with the fluid and acites. I teach and had to go on leave in Nov. and now the district would like to know what I'm doing next fall and I have no idea - luckily they are very supportive of me. My husband is inclined for me to stay home but on the good days I would love to be working - the tired days, it's hard to get off the couch. I did just qualify for Soc.Sec. disability which will help some, though I stayed home for many years, too and don't have lots of years in the SS system. I do know that I won't go back full time but each person has to check their own system and where they are at physically and emotionally. Talk with your drs. too and see where they feel you are. Take care and leave enough at the end of the day for your family, if possible. Sluggishly, Amy
Guest guest
Hi Amy, I love to indulge my sweet tooth! Can’t stop. The only supplements I use are the EAS CarbControl AdvantEdge shakes and bars and Myoplex Lite shakes and bars. I did try a few EAS results womens drinks here and there. I did start taking in my 4th challenge a multi vitamin, vit. E, B complex, and FlaxSeed Oil...but like I said not until the 4th challenge. My motivation was all sorts of things. I put on my wall pictures of girls working out...I have a poster board that says Gloria's Journey to Success and has all my 12 week pictures on it, and the progression, and then inspirational phrases...plus my family and friends...and the fact when someone who has known me for years walks past me and doesn't recognize because I have lost so much....THAT IS AN AWESOME FEELING! Some days though I had to pull it all from inside me to just get hour by hour...I work a lot and sometimes I thought, this is crazy I can't do this, but I kept plugging along, I just knew I wanted to get to 145, and took one day at a time. I want to run a marathon..I knew I could not do that at almost 400 lbs...you have to look deep inside yourself and make the choice...the choice to live happy and healthy or to live fat and miserable like I was...I made the choice to be happy....but I had to make that choice many times through this process...and if I did mess up..oh well...just a speed bump, life goes on...start fresh, and push on..I had to realize I was going to mess up and I once I accepted that, I wasn't so stressed about omg I can't eat that or I want to eat this or that...I just went with the flow, then it became habit, and now I can not imagine my life any other way, and I wonder why it took me so long to figure out, this is so much better than the way I was living, but I figure God has a plan for me and I am right where he wants me to be... The biggest thing I think that will help you, you have to believe you can do this...once you truly believe in your heart you are going to do this and nothing ...nothing is going to stop you because you know you are going to do this....then you are on your way, if you doubt yourself, then you have a problem...if you have to get up in the morning and stand in the mirror and repeat outloud to yourself, " I am beautiful, I want to be healthy, and I will hit my goal, and nothing is going to stop me. " If you say that 10 times to yourself everyday...you will start to believe it, and so will your body, and you will find your *mess* ups get fewer and fewer and you will make better choices...believe me it might sound silly but it really does help.. My boss Rick Singleton said a quote the other day that I love he said , " You can't not put off success until tomorrow, Success Starts Today. " If you really think about that it is sooo true. People that are successful don't wait for things to happen....they make things happen. Well anyways I am sorry this is so long..I am a chatterbox, I hope this helps a little, please feel free to email me if you have any other questions. Guest guest
I had a syncrometer test by someone recommended by the .net website (or rather I asked them for peoples names). The advice I was given was to use 2 specific program keys for me (parasite & lyme) but always to use the duration key between or after each one. On one email he said to use between & on another he said to use after each one - so it depends on how much time you have available. I would think that you should also concentrate on a couple first, or even one & in addition the parasite one - surely parasites are the most important & all your other problems could be connected with chronic fatigue - incidentaly have you thought that either lyme or mercury could be the cause? Hope this helps / has given you something to think about. Val Date: Sat Jun 3, 2006 8:22 am (PDT) From: " DeLynn " de_lynn@... Subject: Zapper Deluxe w/program keys? Hi. I'm new to this group. I was wondering if anyone is using the Zapper Deluxe 2004 with program keys. I have one and have 4 different keys, but am having difficulty getting specific info on how to use them. I chose four keys for my 4 worst health issues (chronic fatigue, hormone imbalance, depression and allergies). What I'm looking for is how often to use one key before moving on to the next. Thank you for your time. --DeLynn
