Guest guest
My daughter has been GFCF for 7 months, and has become tired of her food choices. I don't blame her, two year olds are picky eaters naturally, then you add GFCF on top of it and it doesn't leave much. We started KidZyme, a general digestive enzyme, about a week ago. She gets it in the morning with her GFCF cereal (which she LOVES) and in a meal occasionally. She has had Mac & Cheese twice this week with the enzyme mixed in with NO problems. She was SO thrilled, she just lit up. I tried spaghetti this noon with enzymes mixed in, (which she ate a ton of as a baby, but hasn't wanted since she was 15 months old when autism symptoms arrived), and she looked at it, then ran away. She asked instead for GFCF donut holes. So, am I doomed to rotating GFCF items with the same diet she had before GFCF (mac & cheese, PB sandwiches, and chicken nuggets), or is there hope that her diet will expand with enzymes? Also, any ideas on how to stash enzymes for school use? Ciera starts all day preschool MOnday, and we're exploring options. Thank you for any advice! mother of Ciera (3) and Amelia (18 months)
