Guest guest
My son (3.5 years old) has SI difficulties. It is hard to say exactly which protocols or supplements are the best. The most important thing for me right now is the enzymes (all three Houston's) and probiotics at 40billion/day. Cod liver oil seems to be important as is the Vit A supplements. Magnesium was a missing piece for a while. The Epson salt baths and supplementation at 200mg/night (Dr. actually recommended more but we tend towards diahrrea). The Omega 3,6,9s. The enzymes and probiotics are very important because the more I keep his gut in order, the better things are. Currently, our problem is attention and he just lays on the floor a lot. My 21 month old more readily eats with a fork and plays with toys than my 3.5 year old. He has no interest in potty training. My 3.5 year olds' issues are not readily perceptible to the untrained eye, and I think that is because of the GF/CF/SF diet and the supplementation. Because his cysteine plasma and reduced glutathione came back low and his sulfate plasma high, I am adding N-A-Cysteine to his amino acids mix and was told to try the Feingold diet. I don't know if this will help or not, but this is what I am up to. Sincerely, Maureen
