Guest guest
Hello Everyone, I saw some really strange symptoms with my 4 year old last night. He has been on the verge of getting a cold, though his homeopathic remedy is keeping the cold at bay.So this could have been a viral response (Zach tends to regress when sick).I could tell he was more tired than usual last evening, and also couldn't eat his dinner b/c he was complaining of a " rash " - he had an external mild redness around his cheeks and mouth, but we think he also must have had a sore inside his mouth as well.We put him to bed, and within a couple of ours he was moaning a lot. He was hot (not fever but sweating), so I put him in our bed.By 2:30 am I had not slept a wink - Zach was constantly thrashing around, twitching a lot, he wet the bed a couple of times (he usually sleeps thru without wetting). And I could tell his stomach was hurting him - it was tight and gassy. I finally put him back in his own bed (just to get a little sleep!) and he seemed to settle down. He seems OK this morning though his lips are very red.As far as I know, he didn't have anything different to eat that he hasn't had before. THe only other thing I can think of is that we put some Eucalyptus essential oils in his bath (a little vapor for the cold!), but have used this before without any problems....it's hard to tell what the problem was, really! I have also started GSE with both boys (2 drops with 1/2 cap No- Fenol at breakfast), so could this be yeast die off? Except that he went all day without exhibiting any syptoms. I have also been having some problems with the enzymes with my 28 month old Wyatt, so perhaps we are starting to see problems with Zach? But I didn't give Zach any enzymes at dinner. When Wyatt gets a whole cap of either Zyme-Prime or Similase, he gets a pretty bad red, scaly ( " chapped " rash) on his face. Sometimes he also gets mouth sores. I didn't give any GSE this morning, as I was a little nervous with having these strange syptoms. The other thing is that I have started yogurt the last 1-2 weeks. The boys seem to be tolerating OK, and I have actually noticed an improvement in Wyatt's stools (they have been formed for 3 days now!). Anyway, just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this. Both on Zach and Wyatt's apparent reaction to the enzymes... Best, Miti
