NAET/BIOSET-We've done both!

Hi, I've been on this list for awhile, but don't post often. My son

is 5 1/2 years old and has been through both NAET and Bioset. He

has no diagnosis whatsoever, but had food intolerances, asthma and

was very hyperactive. After his four year old vaccinations, he

began to detoriate including speech regression, could not even say

his name correctly. This was the scariest time in my life.

We immediately sought help everywhere!!! Prior to his boosters, he

was already on a gfcf diet, but I had not yet drawn the vaccine

connection. However, I couldn't figure out how he had gastro

issues, and food allergies since we really don't have this on either

side. After the boosters, we had no doubts what had caused all

these issues.

Anyway, we began to see a naturopath who claimed that he would be

able to eat everything again if we did NAET. I checked a couple

references and they assured me it worked for them. Our son could

not eat corn, much fruit, wheat or dairy.

After certain treatments, there was no doubt that it was working.

Our son became calmer, his poop became better formed, he had a

healthy glow to him that I had not seen in years. In addition, we

were healing his gut with homeopathic detox, glutamine, vit a, etc.

We ended up switching to a Bioset provider because Bioset

incorporates enzymes and we were afraid to challenge treatments

without the use of enzymes. Anyway, we now no longer need enzymes

or probiotics. Our son can have oats, wheat, corn, most fruits

now. He also can have dairy in cooked products, and yogurts twice a

week. His only food issue that is still stubborn is malted barley

which is in a lot of baked products and flours. He now only needs a

calcium supplement, cod liver oil, and a immune booster(echinacea

supplement-hopefully only during the winter season). He also had

asthma but no longer needs any medication after this was corrected

through a homepathic remedy. In addition, if his malted barley

sensitivity does not improve soon, we will probably be trying

homeopathic desensitization drops which should eventually correct

this sensitivity too, according to our naturopath.

This almost sounds too good to be true, but alternative treatment

via naturopaths and chiropractors made a world of difference for

us. I believe that NAET/Bioset contributed to lessening of our

son's allergies and asthma, and naturopathy/homeopathy is now taking

our improvement even further. Realistically, I expect our son

perhaps to always need a calcium supplement, since he doesn't eat a

lot of dairy, and to need cod liver oil everyday. But we have

avoided putting him on medication, have gotten him off asthma

medicine, have returned his diet to almost everything, and have

avoided any diagnosis.

So, in my opinion, NAET and Bioset were very worth it for us.

Traditional medicine did nothing for us except create the problem

that caused our issues. Hope this helps... Joan
