Not sure I understand your question. I did this about October/November. My

kids are ALWAYS outside, if that matters to you.

well you might be on to something with high vitamin a/ole like you

were with no fenol...............

but given your dry climate and the children being outside then that

would imply reasonable skin vitamin d levels as well

what i am noticing is that autistic gut problems plus northern low

sun latitudes tends to colitis much more which reinforces sun

exsposure and most effectively a solar noon sun altitude above 72

degrees as modulating the immune system away from inflamatory gut

diseases and proably things like ms as well.

This OLE is REALLY addressing a problem with #3 and #4 and skin rashes. I

removed OLE again right after Christmas, and two days

later #4 [who is NT and her food issues are now gone] developed a VERY NASTY red

rash all over the underside of her thighs. So I

added it back and the rash disappeared in two days. Very strange.

LOL it has rained here 2-3 times per week for the last month or so!! Major mud

slides in the fire-burned areas, 12 people died on

Christmas day about 50 miles from here from that. Yes I know this really does

not mean we don't have a dry climate, but we are tired

of the rain here!

Not sure kids with metal/virus problems can make vitamin D from the sunshine,

because they typically can't make vitamin A from beta

carotene. But I *assume* at least MY kids are okay with vitamin D.

I know SAD can be associated with phenol intolerance, which is why the light

boxes can work for SAD symptoms and also phenol

symptoms. I wonder if it is the vitamin D, or some other reason that light is

good for this? Do you have any ideas on that?

pre vitmain d is made when sunlight in the wavelenghts 290-305 nm

(which is sun above 73 degress solar elevation really) strikes

cholesterol the skin and converts it to pre vitmain d, lumisterol and

tachysterol.

the pathways are different from vitamin a and not dependent on the

gut.

high sun therapy seems to have been outstandingly successful in

tasmanias limited high sun season so far.

Okay that makes sense, altho still not sure a body which is not functioning

properly would be able to convert anything to anything

else, whether or not the gut is involved. But it would seem that there is a

better chance of converting sunlight to vitamin D than beta

carotene to vitamin A.

I always feel better in summer than winter, altho our winters are very mild

compared to yours.
