Hi,

We are starting Valtrex this weekend for my daughter. Should we add extra

milk thistle for the liver? What else would help her liver stay healthy during

the Valtrex trial? Any ideas? Besides liver support, what else should we

make sure she gets as we go through this trial?

Thanks,

in Salt Lake City

Not , but I have tried Lauricidin on my son 3 or 4 times now. Every

time he gets angry, grouchy, then congested with wheezing and/or fever. I

really think the reaction is die-off, but I've never been able to keep going

with

it because his reaction is so bad, and this is with only 1 or 2 pellets once or

twice a day. Somebody here -- P?-- has had good results. I'd love to

hear other's experiences as well, I just have a feeling it's going to work

eventually.

Hi

I use Lauricidin for my grandson. I have just worked up from 2 pellets a day

to 4 pellets a day. I have been using this product at least two months. I

have had to go slow with Lauricidin because of the same behaviors you

described. I think the best thing to do is start with one or two pellets per

day and

stick with it until behaviors improve. When I upped the number of pellets to

four the behaviors did not return...thank goodness.

Hi

He is listening better and answering more questions. He will agree to finish

a task before moving on to something else....before he would become defiant.

I guess he is just acting a little more mature. I also started him on

Ambrotose AO to help with his immune system too. The speech therapist told me

on

Tuesday that he was focusing better and more willing to do what she wants him to

do. This is a big change for him.

Hi Nell,

My son has excellent reactions to Lauricidin........at first he had severe

die-off for 5 days,lethargy,fever,felt like he had the flu,sneezing,coughing

nose running. I knew I was on the right track!I give him 2 scoops a day....1 in

the morning and 1 at night. He keeps telling me he feels different and no

longer has autism.

I guess that is the one thing that scares me about lauricidin. Fever, and flu

like symptoms.

What good news, ! I started him yesterday on 2 pellets, so far so good

-- getting angry a lot but no sniffles or fever. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Thanks, W -- it was you I was thinking of before. Something I'm wondering

about -- do you think the Lauricidin interferes with good bacteria? Just got

tests back saying that n has NO lactobacillus or E. coli so I'm trying to

figure out a way to get rid of the bad but keep whatever good bacteria I can

get down him. Do you think the Lauricidn is working primarily on Ethan's

yeast? I guess it's impossible to know.
