In my expereince of giving HNI with ALA/DMSA (extensive!) ti makes no

differnec to either supplement. Way way back ont he board this was brought up,

new we were soon starting vchelation and asked me to makes notes on timings

with both and note any percieved changes in either of their actions. He was

cool. Just our experience :)

I use ALA, sometimes with enzymes and sometimes without. Both

products work the same for us, whether or not given together.

Since the beginning of this group (2 1/2 years ago) no one has said

anything about chelators being more or less effective with

enzymes...or in other groups either. Enzymes are probably making the

chelators more effective just because they are enhancing gut health,

nutrient absorption, immune support, and overall health.

Theoretically, if anything, the chelators may 'deactivate' the

enzymes and thus mess up the enzyme action, but not the other way

around. But there haven't been any reports of enzymes being less

effective whether given with or apart from any chelating agent.

I do not see any difference with my son when I give him enzymes and

ALA together vs. at different times. It appears to me they are not

affecting each other.

We give Cassandra the Brainchild with ALA with enzymes always. Its

not alot of ALA, but I have seen no decrease in the effectiveness of

the enzymes. I told at Brainchild that she takes the enzymes

and he said it would only enhance the absorbability of his vitamins.
