The poly- and disaccaride forms of sugar are not quickly absorbed and so instead of feeding the person feed yeast and bacteria. As for prunes, you'll have to give them a test to see if they can be tolerated -- I just gave my son a prune yesterday (gave into the begging even though I knew what was going to happen) and he got angry and his ears turned bright red, possibly it's the phenols. For others maybe a limited amount would be OK. So take a look at SCD and then try things one at a time, it's the only way to account for individual differences. 'now' optizinc seems ok you do need to to look at other balancing minerals like occasional manganese at some point. i doubt rice syrup is scd legal. Even though prunes are a dried fruit, supposedly because they go through the system so fast the yeast do not get to it-anyone validate this one? Guest guest Posted December 23, 2003 Report Share Posted December 23, 2003 now is a brand. i find that when my zinc levels are adequate i don't get athletes foot and yeast issues dissappear. hexal povidine also works well as a topical application on athletes foot but you do absorb iodine from it there is a limit to how often and how much you can use. iodine is unusual in that its a mineral that is well aborbed through the skin, other minerals like zinc are not well absorbed. the thing about minerals is the principle of only a couple of degrees in a 360 compass being right.............. brands, fillers, type and even within a brand some products are ok and others not. a hair test would make it easier to comment on minerals, if you want your doctor to do something useful ask him to order a hair test. i don't know quite how to explain the leaky gut to you, when you have it healed then everything else will be alright, like it is the hardest thing to get right. chelated magnesium is also necessary but can be a bit pro yeast......... you have to give it though zinc needs to be buffered by food so say 1/4 of an hour after a meal very low dose calcium ascorbate, say 15 mg three or four times a day may help with toxic load zinc and magnesium really need selenium and adeqaute iodine one thing leads into another bascially she will not be absorbing anything like the full nutrients from food. enzymes will help but the road winds on ) very philisophic today thats what migraine and missing out on some peak sun does. > QUESTIONS IN CAPS, THANKS. > Re: rice syrup/prunes > > > zinc is what the body uses to kill fungal diseases.
