For the last 4 months I've been making SCD ketchup...take a bottle of Knudsen's tomato juice and boil it down until it thickens, add a little vinegar, salt, a little honey. I put it in the old ketchup bottles and neither kid noticed. Nell

For us, lutein did not cause any diarrhea. We noticed that when we pulled it, behaviors improved and we saw subtle pragmatic improvements. He is now eating everything. The other big factor, I think, in finally doing better (of course, we still have a long road to travel) is the stuff we've done to heal his gut---enzymes, zinc, goat whey (to form glutathione), Perfect Food. We also give CLO for the DHA, I just started 20,000 units of Vit A daily and we are beginning to give the Brainchild vits and mins. I need to addin glutamine but I am waiting a while since we recently started all the above in the last two months. I would give something and if had no reaction in three days (bad reaction) I'd add in the next. It took six weeks on the enzymes before we could add anything else, though. Ask Devin if the NoFenol helps lutein. Good luck, Robin
