I think i need to teach her how to swallow a pill...LOLOL any

We started teaching with gelcaps--they don't melt quickly and don't

taste like much of anything. We were using DHA caps at the time. He got the hang

of it quickly. We then moved to regular caps, like the enzymes. He, too, can

swallow these without water. He can now swallow what we call

horsepills...Goatein and Perfect Food. Those melt in your mouth quickly so there

are some that

get spit out. However, there are times all five (of each) go down. Today he

swallowed all five Goateins but only three perfect foods. I'll give him two more

later. He is really good about taking them.

For my son, he had no progress at all until I started biomedical interventions,

and he did make nice progress with certain

supplements.

At first, I smeared honey on the gelcap and put in at the back of my son's

tongue. He gagged a little but did swallow it. This was

about a month ago [he is age 7-1/2]. Now all I have to do is get the gelcap

wet, to make it smoother, and just put it in his mouth. He

moves it to the back of his tongue and swallows it all by himself. He does not

even need to drink water, altho I do give him a drink

after he swallows it.

Antoinette,

What great news. It's so good to get independent confirmation of

the improvements, isn't it? Enjoy your holidays - sounds like your

daughter will be enjoying them more too.
