Guest guest
Hi - Was wondering if anyone knows about creosote in drinking water. We depend on our rainwater tanks for water for all our needs and because of the drought, building renovations, inept flue cleaning, we have thoroughly tainted water in our tanks! Creosote. My web searches have been pretty fruitless, except to tell me that creosote is now considered carcinogenic and is on the Occupational Health and Safety warning lists. This really worries me. We have bought pure water in casks (no salts, chlorine, etc) for drinking and cooking etc but that does not address my concerns about skin contact (shower, washing, etc). Any info on creosote and how to " cleanse " our tanks? Thanks In Advance Jaci
