Guest guest
Hello, Tests are starting to come in, and at least I believe I am assured my 7 year old daughter had a yeast overgrowth. (She is not autistic, however has a host of emotional and physical related issues classic to yeast overgrowth and I feel she has had this going on for at least 5-6 years.) Below are her highs on the OAT's test. I'm working very hard to gather information here to try to make the most educated decisions on my plan of attack and would greatly appreciate any input. Ideas and/or theories totally welcome. Thanks so much, and I can't wait until I get my bearing here to be able to also help others. Arabinose-acceptable high was 47 she was 125 3-oxoglutaric-acceptable high was .5 she was .6 glyceric-acceptable high was 10 she was 14 citric-acceptable high was 560 she was 1372 (Note: 2 days prior to test I had given her a chewable vit. C. Am thinking this may be the cause, but interesting her vit. C/ascorbic level was low?) VMA-acceptable high was 4.7 she was 5.5 methylsuccinic-acceptable high was 5 she was 8.3 suberic-acceptable high was 2 she was 7.3 kynurenic-acceptable high was 2 she was 4.1 pantothenic-acceptable high was 4 she was 8.9 ascorbic-acceptable LOW was 10 she was 10 oxalicacceptable high was 100 she was 115 We are also expecting test info to come back on a comp. stool analysis; food and environmental allergy sensitivities. From this can I tell if she has a leaky gut? Any other tests recommended for input? One person suggested to look at the EFA test to see what is not working properly. She has had all of her shots including the boosters, anything here signify a high level of rubella antibody? Thanks again! Kari
