Guest guest
, Diet can definitely help OA. Look up alkalizing foods. Also, enzymes will help. In addition, leaky gut syndrome can cause OA. A lot of what you will be doing for your son may help your husband. Robin
Guest guest
Does anyone know if there is any correlation between metal toxicity and arthritis? My husband has severe chronic pain in his back (disc problems) and in his knees. He has had knee surgery on both knees, and now is being told he may have to consider knee replacement. BTW, he's 45. He sees a pain specialist once a month and has tried just about every treatment there is out there. Now that we are discovering more about food sensitivities and metal poisoning with respect to our son's AS diagnosis, I am beginning to wonder if he could possibly be helped by diet, enzymes, or chelation? Guest guest
, I don't know about metals but enzymes DO help with arthritis. This is one of the more extensive uses of enzymes clinically. I ran into study after study with arthritis of several types using thousands of patients. My husband remarked that just adding Peptizyde and Zyme Prime enzymes to each meal, his arthritis in his knees was much less. He had started complaining (loudly) about his knees hurting going up and down steps. After using enzymes for a few months, he said it really didn't hurt anymore (and we don't have to listen to the complaints now!). I am glad it really did help. My husband runs several days a week about 5 miles to keep his lungs open (he has asthma). So good knee health has more consequences besides mobility. .
