Guest guest
Hello, I just received feedback regarding my 7 year old's food and enviromental sensitivites. In addtion we have confirmed she has a yeast overgrowth (score of 125 when normal max was 47) in the aribinose level from GP. For her food test, the one high (score of 5 out of 5), was with egg whites. I understand this is often very allergenic, but actually surprised a bit with this score. She recently has been eating 3-4 fried egg whites every morning for breakfast and am wondering if this may have actually triggered this high antibody reaction? Last night, we were trying to stay away from the illegal foods for dinner, and also through in a few more fried egg whites. She proceeded to have one of her nutty melt downs, silly and grumpy jeykll/hyde like and a real pain. My question is, does a reaction to food sensitivity/allergy look just like a yeast flare up??? Everyone here has confirmed that her annoying silly/mad behavior is definitley a yeast flare up, so that I can totally see. But sinse I never knew she had a food issue, am wondering if seeing this behavior was either a yeast related reaction to something else we gave her and didn't realize, or does food issues look the same? I was really hoping corn would be leagal as it turned out she is not allergic to it at all. But do believe I have heard that for some kids it sets the yeast off. Thanks! For my son, yes, certain foods would look like a yeast flare up, especially phenols http://www.danasview.net/phenol.htm > I was really hoping corn would be leagal as it turned out she is not allergic to it at all.
