Guest guest
For us it was definately a calcium deficiency. It has gone completely but we use a lot of calcium to combat it.

Then about 4 months ago on friends advice and some of the people who post here,I decided to try adding zinc to the supplimenting we are doing , I started her on Opti- Zinc Methionin about once a week, She noticed a slight improvement but it still happened, So 6 weeks ago I increased her to twice a week and there seems to be a marked improvement. I know there are a lot of other interconected suppliment issues involved but adding that to our cocktail did seem to make a noticable differance to the grinding. Hope that helps, Eileen. Guest guest
once you get u to a certain level of zinc you need to add manganese, the natures own manganese seems ok, maybe one tablet a week. swam off the little park near sulphur creek today, the sun sparkling on the water but cold! solar noon is about 1.12pm where you are i think. creeps slowly forward but from now on until about the second week of jan is the best vitmain d if the air is clear. to the previous poster super nu thera with its high b6 may be a problem. to much can also affect minerals. > > My son (4yo)is going to ruin his teeth. Guest guest
> My son (4yo)is going to ruin his teeth. Unbelievable grinding. > Does anyone have insight into what might cause this? Hi Beth, My son has a couple of reasons for grinding teeth. The main one appears to be a need for zinc. Give him zinc, grinding teeth stops. The other one appears to be silent reflux. Hard to dx because he does not show the classic symptoms of gastro-esophageal reflux. However, reducing the acid reduces the pain and the teeth grinding stops. (Various treatments include rx medications like Zantac; OTC like mylantin; alternative like bicarb soda. All work!) Can't help any further because I'm not experienced enough. Hope it helps anyway.... Can also be calcium, magnesium, and/or zinc deficiency. Dana
