Guest guest
Could be yeast but it could also still be pinworms. Maybe some other parents can chime in, but my son does not scratch at his bottom (nor does his sister) when it is red from yeast. So if he is itching at it, my guess would be pinworms/parasites. Guest guest
My son didn't scratch his rear when I noticed other signs of yeast flare ups, but since we've started the antifungal med. Nizoral he has been scratching quite a bit. In fact he has a skin tag there, it was there the day he was born and now all of a sudden he's noticed it. Maybe scratching isn't from the milder yeast but from the stronger fungal form. Re: Could this be yeast? Could be yeast but it could also still be pinworms. Is GSE okay for babies? Thanks. I would only give 1 drop, maybe 2x per day if required. Be sure you dilute it in something. Dana
