I am looking at trying my almost-three-year-old son on peptizyde and am

wondering how much to give him. Do I have to give it to him at every meal? Only

when he has gluten/casein? Once a day? How much do I give him? Could I possibly

overdose him? there seem to be conflicting ideas out there, and I'm having

trouble getting a straight answer from some of my other sources. Thanks for any

help.

That's the goal to work up to for the best results.

>Only when he has gluten/casein?

I think it's best to take enzymes with other proteins and grains,

too. I don't think the problems are always limited to just gluten

and casein, but can include whatever the kid eats the most. The

intolerance can occur with anything. That's what our experience was.

Once a day?

Start at once a day and follow the dosing sheet which comes with the

product.

How much do I give him?

This will be explained in the dosing sheet. Start at the low end and

build up as instructed.

Could I possibly overdose him?

No toxic limit has been found with enzymes, but I don't think you'll

need to give more than 3 capsules per dose for a child.

I would always go with the manufacturer's instructions over anyone

else. The FAQ section at houstonni.com should help.
