" and so this couple of weeks of depression for me was really

unnerving.'

thats to long and symptomatic of neural and metals retention issues

because you have placed your faith in doctors rather than developing

youe own knowledge and experience you are increasingly

vulnerable..........

you really need that now to work through your own issues.

, you are correct. However, as with all things, not completely. I'm

actually going for some labs on Monday, if I can arrange it. However, the

testing I'd like done is for copper/zinc and metallothionein levels. I imagine

I've not been processing out the toxins as fast as I've been taking them in. My

pancreatitus was a big neon and flashing sign for me, but, I digress. I too am

afraid chelation would hurt more than help my munchkin. I was sent home with a

hair metals test, and since I've completed my research on all Megson's

supplements, I'll now begin the testing. P.S. his blood sugar was a little off,

so they suggested low dose chromium with some other stuff. Learned chromium does

damage to DNA, and begged off. Turns out his levels aren't that off, we'll be

getting a fasting blood test for greater accuracy. However, the GSH and other

supplements can realign that whole insulin thing, so may not need the chromium.

Just need to get through 12-15 weeks of supplements to retest.

Anyhow. Much more concerned with getting his little body back online so that he

can chelate this crap out efficiently, like he should be doing. Anybody out

there heard about Walsh's theory about the whole metallothionein thing? I found

the book by the way. The one I found but couldn't buy, and then could afford,

but then couldn't find. Yeah, I bought it. I think it's good. Wish I'd read it

years ago. Anyone of us could have written it, ( no disrespect to the author,

it's just that it includes to a large degree what we talk about here). It's

called The Natural Medicine Guide to Autism by Marohn. Now, I'm not

quite done reading it yet. On Chapter 7, though and so far so good. I'm not

saying I agree with everything in it, when do I? But it's informative, and

that's all I ask for anymore. Anyhow, chapter 6 was a real kicker. Especially

considering everything we just started with Dr. Megson. I'm calling her on

Monday too. I received the lab results from her office today, but they just

relayed what was off, ex. copper/zinc , low zinc, low Vit. A. I want the actual

lab test results themselves, not her abbreviated version. Yes, . I set

myself up for disappointment when I rely too heavily on the Doctors. My learning

curve apparently isn't what it should be. But I must ask, how do you get any

blood work done? Who confirms or holds intelligent conversations with you about

what you see? I'm intelligent enough to be flexible, but I'm not so flexible

that I can do it all on my own. I'm like a pretzel as it is trying to keep all

the information straight. This has been a long road for me, but I've got my

second wind. Apparently my neglect of myself has left me open, and I mean wide

open to all of this, but hey, I'm trying.

its the chromium picolinate that is the problem for dna, gtf chromium

should be fine.

make sure there is adequate vitamin d as well as vitamin a though in

in several months (san diego?) you should be able to get adeqaute

skin vitamin d at the solar noon. low sun on skin just depletes

vitmain d and is an oxidative stress.

the only blood test i ever had was for lead and it put me wrong for

years since it showed low but in fact i was getting lead and it just

went to tissue.
