Hi ,

We flew our daughter to New York to visit with Dr. Harold Levinson who is the

doctor who has used this inner ear-cerebellar approach for a while. He has

been treating kids for many years with meclizine and antihistamines -- with

about an 80% success rate if the kid is having typical dyslexic problems/some

nontypical. Levinson says he can help autistic kids but they are different. I

think it is a matter of definition. He helped my daughter who was later

labelled autistic spectrum. We still give the medicines (OTC) he recommmended

and

my daughter has never regressed.

Dr. Levinson has put out many books and several papers on this topic. You

can go to his website-- www.dyslexiaonline.com.

The supplements he recommends are ones that many of us use for our children.

Here are some:

DMAE

Lecithin

GIngko

Piracetam (Like Vinpocetine)

Here are the key ones though:

Meclizine (Bonine is a brand you see a lot)

Antihistamines--Benadryl, etc.

If you need more antimotion medicine--Marazine (OTC)

Hope this helps.

It does. Thank you very much. My nephew (12) has dyslexia and I am

going to forward this info to my SIL as well as look at it.
