Guest guest
Is there anyone on this list that has tried carnosine with their child? And if you did, did you see an increase in your child's appetite? Our daughter, almost 14, has been on carnosine over two weeks and I'm concerned about how much she wants to keep eating. She could keep asking for more or helping herself if I don't keep an eye on her. Thanks,
Guest guest
Hi - just a thought on this - a while back I read an article on the fact that Japan uses zinc/carnosine to cure stomach ulcers - maybe she her stomach is feeling so much better? I was hoping for this effect on my guys but not yet. I will look for the article and post it for those who haven't seen it. Regards Terri Re: carnosine and increased appetite Is there anyone on this list that has tried carnosine with their child? And if you did, did you see an increase in your child's appetite? Guest guest
It looks as if the zinc portion of the carn-aware product may be as important as the L-carnosine part: http://www.protein.bio.msu.su/biokhimiya/contents/v65/full/65070961.htm
Guest guest
Thanks Terri for your thoughts. I think we fixed the leaky gut problem with her being on enzymes for over a year and other things that we use. I thought I read somewhere that it increase appetite but I'm not sure. Guest guest
The funny thing is anytime I have given zinc supplements in the past, she always acts like it is hurting her stomach. That's why I gave up un using Carn-Aware and gave her L-Carnosine with vitamin e supplemented.
