Guest guest
My son has had problems with a lot of enzymes, but one he tolerates fine is a general all-purpose one, not designed to break down casein and gluten. It's called Vitase Digestion Formula, by Prevail. I've given it to him for years with no problem, and he's a highly reactive type of kid. Guest guest
It may be just all plant enzymes too. You may want to consider pancreatic ones. Wobenzyme is sold in health food stores although some of them have a bright red coating on them. They do have a line without the coloring though. Or get one of the other pancreatic enzyme supplements (although I don't know about quality of them). Your doctor may write a prescription for pancreatic enzymes - Creon, or Vikonase (sp?). They wouldn't be specific for casein/gluten, but would be better for overall digestion than no enzymes. The ones Debbie mentioned may work. .
