Guest guest
Is this a sign of lack of certain vitamins or minerals or not enough drinking of water? The first urine of the day is the worse. The smell is AWFUL!! Thanks

" First urine of the day is normally more concentrated and a more concentrated smell, but possibly a urinary tract infection, best consider getting her urine tested. Guest guest
> > Probably toxins coming out? I noticed last couple of days, strong smelling urine. Almost like when one eats asparagus, but I'm not eating asparagus! Just strong odour, not quite 'right'. > Is this a normal part of the detoxing? +++Hi Tina. Yes, it is very common to have strong smelling urine and get other changes in your urine due to toxins coming out. Also, when you take B vitamins your urine will smell stronger and be more yellow, which is normal - I have that every day too. The kidneys are one of the important organs involved in detoxification. > > I have some suspiscion that I have been detoxing before, since I was so intolerant to so many things/reactive, I mostly have been eating mostly meat plus some vegetables diet for a very long time, only I actually introduced apples, grapefruit and pears in the past year and a half because at some point, I barely had any foods to eat. +++Hopefully you were detoxing before. Your body must detoxify itself every day anyway, just to get rid of toxins it creates when it processes foods, etc. Fruits create uric acid which must be eliminated through the kidneys, and they are diuretic, meaning they make your body lose water along with minerals, that go out through the kidneys too. > > I have not had fruit now for a week, taking larger amoutns of coconut oil, celtic salt daily 1.5tsp, and started carlson's cod liver oil. I will be starting the magn citrate, calc citrate, vit c powdr, and yeast flakes in about 2 days when they arrive. > > when I had chelated before with dmsa, I believe that is strong sulphur based medication, I was releasing metals in my urine, and even when NOT chelating! +++Why do you believe you were releasing metals in your urine? Sulphur is one of the most important minerals the body needs daily, along with calcium, magnesium, salt (chloride + sodium), etc. as I write in my article. It is most important for detoxification processes, so that's why people think they are allergic to foods high in sulphur like eggs, garlic, onions, etc. when they are simply detoxifying better. So I wonder if my body had been detoxing on it's own somewhat. My urine would smell then too. Does that mean then that dmsa actually helps overall detox the body? though, I know meds are not advised. +++DMSA is a drug that introduces radioactive substances directly into the body. We know the dangers of radioactivity from X-rays, CAT scans, MRIs, etc. It is better to detoxify the safer, longer, slower way with this program that also strengthens your body and supplies the energy it needs to detoxify itself. Guest guest
Hi Bee, Urine tests through St. Joe's university hospital near Toronto is where they send all urine tests in canada for heavy metal panels etc, actually covered under our medical, not a third party type lab. My urine was being checked regularly, I was seeing back then an alternative doctor. She had me try to do supplements, vitamin iv's, sauna, none of these lasted too long. And tried a few rounds of dmsa. But, on my baseline, there were some metals coming out anyway, different all the time too. I find it odd now that when I eat, I can smell the most potent part of that food, usually a vegetable, in my urine. Thank you, Tina > > +++Why do you believe you were releasing metals in your urine? So that's good, and this program is what helps your body get rid of heavy metals - see this article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/mn16.php All the best, Bee
