Zinc and B6

I think I read these can't be taken together. If that is correct, I am having

trouble working out when to give them all. He did not do well having the zinc at

night. He needed it in the morning. If I gave the B6 after school (3.15pm) would

it still keep him awake at night? Has anybody tried a full dose of P5P at this

time of day? Any other clever ideas?

What about if I put the P5P in with the frozen enzymes to have at school? Would

it degrade and not work, does anyone know?

TIA

Just a note on the P5P and zinc. My son also was up at night. That didn't last

though. It went on for about 2 weeks as his body adjusted. Did you give it

enough time to straighten out?

zinc and B6

It's a 50mg cap and just started with a sprinkle this am though I am working

on the premise that he has pyroluria. Will see what the serum B6 is when we get

it back. He takes Zn picolinate but it didn't work at all at night..

So when you took B6 in the afternoon it didn't keep you awake?

just a sprinkle?

how much in mg do you think? 1 mg may be a lot for a young kid.

i don't believe there is any such condition as pyroluria, its just a

name for high copper/poor copper utilisation and what gives rise to

it. high copper means low zinc and if hes low zinc then he will be

prone to excema, intestinal yeast, tinea and fungal infections and

have high histamin which would likely mean early waking.

i don't understand your comment about zinc picolinate? take enough

zinc over a while and you will necessarily become short of copper.

i don't take b6 every day but alternate it with a low rda broad

spectrum b(cenovis b complex cut up into eights)

b6 and magensium, if i drop them that makes sleep more difficult.

the great medical fallacy is to generalise from organism caused

disease states like say tb where you have one cause is to go over into

much more complexed areas like say 'high' copper and call it a

condition or disease in the same way tb is.

the more u deal with medicine the more you realise how brainless it is

the moment you are relying on a doctor you have kissed goodbye to

quality of living

i exclude surgery that you after research think is necessary from

that.

medicine is good for organism caused disease, surgery and cancer.

anything else is outside its compedence and is the great cultural

failure of education that people are so little able to think for

themsleves that they can't see this.

I give them together, and I have not had a problem.

My son did not do well with zinc at night for a long time, now he does

okay with it. I would not worry if you need to give it in the

morning.

Maybe, maybe not. You can try it and see.
