Guest guest
List, My severly autistic son has some digestive issues, one in particular causes him alot of pain and I'm wondering if enzymes (or anything else) could help. He has a difficult time digesting bread, french fries, things like this that are hard to digest if not chewed well. We try to give him small bites, and make sure he chews each bite before getting another, but he sometimes steals food, and also eats edible and non-edibles items from the floor, so we can't always keep up. We've cut some things completely out of his diet (like corn) as they caused too much pain, and I'm wondering if bread items are gonna have to go too. We see gastroenterologist for reflux (prevacid), but he had no remedy for this other than " make sure he eats slowly and chews before he swallows " . We figured that out ourselves without going to med. school! If you believe enzymes might help this situation, which product (of the ones discussed) would be most beneficial? Thanks, Eileen, Fl.
