Guest guest
My son has been taking psyllium husk for constipation for a long time, in addition to Miralax. I have been slowly trying to wean him off the Miralax by adding more Psyllium Husk. We have seen a gradual increase in hyperactivity, to the point that he's bouncing off the walls. Nothing else has changed. He is very sensitive to phenols, so now I'm wondering if Psyllium contains phenols and maybe he can't tolerate the higher dosage. I searched online but couldn't find anything consusive. Does anyone know how I can determine the phenol content of Psyllium Husk? Thank you.
