i find that enzymes have to be sprinkled on food rather than

swallowed in capsules.

what is the colouring in the pink milk? she may have a intestinal

yeast problem and leaky gut.

this is just my opinion but the children sound at risk of developing

permanent side effects to the medications which can make a

considerable burden of care for you(i know the situation now is not

good)

Hi,

The pink milk, is strawberry syrup that we put in her milk. We try

to take this away, but since her peditrician told me to add calories

when she was a toddler, she won't give it up. She had alot of

problems gaining weight. She was at the 5th percent at that time.

Until this past year she is about 50 %

Red # 40 is really bad stuff. It is in most processed red products.

It makes my son go totally autistic on us. If this has it, please

discontinue it, fast.

Hi,

Would love to get rid of the strawberry milk, but is all she will

drink. Any ideas how to take away gradually. And should start both

of them on non-fenol. I have not order it yet. But thinking of it.

use No fenol and try juice from real strawberries.

Red dye is some nasty stuff.

Also you might try capri juice it has no artificial anything in it.

To help her gain weight have her drink less milk, get more

excersize (gymnastics really helped my daughter) and more protien

esp in the morning. I'm only telling you what has helped my

children.

Hi Robin,

You know me, it is :o). You know how I feel. I bet if

you looked into food allergies there are things your children should

NOT be able to eat. Milk could be the #1 thing you should take away

from their diet. It made a world of difference in Gavins mood. Plus

do you use anything like Calium, Magneisuim and Zinc as supplements

those too all have calmed Gavin. Not that he does not have his

moments but they are not as bad as what you are going though. For

the sake of your children you have to do some of these things. There

are many days I wish I did not have to make special foods and all

these supplements, it all takes time. My life revolves around my son

ever since I found out he had Autism. And I would not have it any

other way. Because of ME he is recovering more and more every

passing day. It takes caring parents doing all they can to make it

happen. Friends here along the way help. Listen to DANA, ANDY and

others here, they ALL HELP. You and your family are in my prayers.

No fenol is a great help but red dye #40 can still cause havic on the

childs system if it is given each day. My son was having some serious

kidney problems from the effect of red dye.

>> And lives on her milk. She

takes medications concerta 18 mg, risperdal 1mg and clondine .01mg

Concerta is generally for ADD, and low phenol can also help with that.

Clonidine is generally for high blood pressure, which she probably

does not have, and sleep issues. Low phenols can help with sleep

issues.

Risperdal can be for many issues, but if behavior is one issue,

phenols can also be a major contributing factor.

So definitely consider low phenols [including milk] or No-Fenol

enzyme.

http://www.danasview.net/phenol.htm

Be careful when starting No-Fenol and/or low phenol diet tho, you will

probably have a problem period where you need to adjust and/or

discontinue these medications.

asleep. His attitude towards me, he tells me that he is the boss and I

am the child. He swears at me, and smarts off at me.

Phenols again.

I don't blame you for being off it, but if you want to try again,

consider adding GSE or other yeast fighter along with it [or now,

before giving it again]. It sounds like your child has a yeast issue

which is stronger than No-Fenol by itself can handle.

Robin,

The moodiness and tantruming you describe could be a sign the enzymes

are making a little difference, some opioid withdrawal effect. I

would stick with the enzymes at least a few more weeks and consider

sprinkling them on the first few bites of food or mixing them in a

little drink. You can find ideas for mixing enzymes in the Files

section at this site:

/files/Mixing%

20Suggestions%20

" And when she saw her eyes lit up and she greeted her right away. She

told me today that her teachers were so suprise how Marie was such a

chatterbox, that she got in trouble for talking too much. Marie has

not shown this talkative side of her. "

This new behavior you describe could also be another sign the enzymes

are helping.

If the moodiness with your son is new behavior, that could also be

some adjustment to the enzymes.

I would consider looking at how you are administering and timing the

enzymes. After your children have adjusted to the Pep and ZP, I

would consider adding the No-Fenol. It may help with the colored

foods.

I would try to cut back on the pink syrup because the No-Fenol may

not help with that completely. You could very gradually reduce the

amount of the pink syrup - adding a little less each day. If you

reduce it in small increments, your daughter will likely adjust

better. Someone else recommended substituting with strawberries,

which could also be helpful. Some kids have difficulty with

strawberries, so keep that in mind if you do not see improvement. No-

Fenol helps my son tolerate strawberries.
