Guest guest
Does anyone have experience with this product: American Biologics Ultra Infla-Zyme Forte? MD prescribed this between meals, 3 a day. When used along with Houston enzymes, could this be too much of a good thing? Grace's pre-enzyme GI Panel looks bad; extreme small intestine inflammation, abnormally low pancreas output and her immune system working at a high level. Probably the norm for most of our kids at some point. I know from observation that a month using Peptizyde has already brought a lot of healing. Serena. Guest guest
>>> Does anyone have experience with this product: American Biologics Ultra Infla-Zyme Forte? MD prescribed this between meals, 3 a day. This looks like basically the same as Wobenzym N (or Mugos) with some extra antioxidants. It has mix of animal and plant derived proteases. The Wobenzyme has been extensively tested for anti- inflammatory and blood cleansing. So this should work for that purpose okay. I haven't used this personally though. >>>When used along with Houston enzymes, could this be too much of a good thing? There doesn't seem to be an upper limit to enzymes in general. You can always add it to your present regime and see if it is tolerated. It don't think it would be too much because the folks with things like cancer and fibromyalgia take LOTS more proteases than most parents here give. On a fibro group, they were saying the 'recommended' dose was 45 tablets of Wobenzym N each day. We find the Peptizyde is just wonderful for pain and healing, but trying a different blend to add to see if there is more healing couldn't hurt. The price of 90 tablets for $25 is decent, so one bottles worth should tell you if it is helping or not. Because these contain pancreatin which is not stable in the stomach acid, they will be enterically coated tablets of some type. So there won't be the efficiency in food digestion that Houston enzymes have. However, for between meals for inflammation and healing this isn't a big a deal. You might want to see if the tablets have coloring on them or not, which you child might not tolerate. Wobenzyme makes a bright red tablet and a colorless tablet. I couldn't find anything that talked about or showed a picture of the Infla-zyme Forte tablet. >>> Grace's pre-enzyme GI Panel looks bad; extreme small intestine inflammation, abnormally low pancreas output and her immune system working at a high level. Guest guest
Wobenzym is well known here in Germany. I wouldn't touch it as it is FULL of red dye! Don't they have two types: one with red dye and one without dye? The red one is the one in our local health food store, but Mike brought be back a package of some from Germany as a souvenier and the insert said red or colorless. .
