Hi all,

I've been on vacation for 4 weeks so have not been able to stay in touch. As

much as I hated to do it I had to delete the 100+ messages. Just couldn't get

caught up. If there has been any new research or discoveries over the past

mont. I sure woul appreciate an e- mail telling me about it. Apparently there

was some kind of a new meds for Lupus when I left that may have application

for other autoimmune diseases. Any info on that?

Thanks and God bless,

Rick, AIH '98

Hi Debby, welcome to the group. I was dx'd in Nov 99

and started on 40 mg of Pred and 150 mg of Imuran. I'm

finally off the Pred and still on 100 mg of Imuran. Of

course I still have the extra 30 lbs I put on while on

the Pred. If a doc is telling any of your that it's a

lie. Everyone puts on weight on Pred. I still have my

liver enzymes checked every 3 months, but so far, so

good. I pray everyday not to have a relapse. Take care

and we're here...... in Louisiana AIH 99'

This is what I did to test logan. I gave him a bowl full of strawberries to

eat without any NF. Within 2 hours he had blood red cheeks and was stimming

like crazy. hope this helps.

Funny little sideline. I came home with Holly the other day and my older

daughter and son were gone- I asked my husband if they had gone to see N-E-M-O.

Holly answered - no they didn't go see Nemo, lol..... so much for spelling in

front of her.

<< Subject: Finding Nemo A Great Movie (Non Ds)

Hi

We all went to the theatre this afternoon and saw " Finding Nemo. " It is a

great movie. If you haven't gone yet, go see it. Kids and most adults should

enjoy it. The animation and the colors are outstanding and the story is very

touching.
