Starting ProEFA -- Steve and others??

For the past few weeks I've been following closely the posts to/from

Steve R. re: EFA's, and now find myself in the " oops I think I

ordered the wrong thing " camp. I bought ProEFA from Nordic Naturals

and see that it has a higher concentration of DHA than perhaps you

think is beneficial, Steve. ProEFA contains 296 mg of EPA (which is

what you think is better to have, right?), 198 mg of DHA, and 80 mg

of GLA (Borage Oil). We are currently on ONE supplement (I am Timid

Tilly over here), the AFP Pep (wonderful results to date), and I

started looking into the EFA's now because my 2.5-yr-old ds is non-

verbal and has some visual issues, I think.

Should we go ahead and try the ProEFA? What side effects should we

look for? I see that you think the EFAs are " energizing, " but I

swear I read somewhere else they were " calming. " No?

You recommend giving the EFA's with meals, correct? And, how???

These are soft gels, which were a mess when I cut into them, and I'm

still staring at the one I put in a glass of cold water. My ds

doesn't swallow pills. I have great success with medicine droppers,

though. How do I get them in there, or what does everyone else do?

Can I give them at the same time as the enzymes? I know probiotics

can be more effective given away from enzymes, but what about the

EFA's?

My bottle says " cool, dry place; " Steve says " refrigerator. " Have I

ruined my bottle by opening it but not refrigerating it?

Don't know what I'd do without you all.

TIA,
