Started ZP 3 weeks ago. Started with a half cap at one meal. Took a

week to do a half cap at each meal. Took another week to do a full

cap at each meal. Had seen improvement in compliance until hit a

full cap at each meal. Since then compliance is worse and speech is

worse (not making sense and hard to understand) and has had red

cheeks since we started. Also had a big tantrum today after hitting

sister with pillow. Immediately sorry afterwards. Do we need to

stick it out at this dose? Should we decrease the dose? Is this

yeast? When do we add Peptizide?

Thanks,

Bill

i would try the pep and no fenol as well but you could be looking at

intestinal yeast which will need something like oreganol, low sugar

sprinkling the cap on the food gives best efficency

also a ddi hair test would be useful to you. things like non selenite

selenium, zinc, magensium........

Hang in there. Sounds like now other food issues are making themselves known. We

didn't realize how many types of foods ph had a problem with until we took

care of one category. For us it was once we'd remove a food group we'd notice

something else would be a problem (masked by the other intolerances). Going

through this with enzymes (although difficult) at least you don't have to remove

the food, just add different enzymes. We introduced one different enzyme a

month. It worked for us, but don't suffer needlessly.

Sounds like you need to reduce back to maybe 1/2 capsule.

He hit his sister with a pillow, and then HE had a tantrum??

I would decrease and leave it at the lower level for at least two

weeks.

Doubtful.

>> When do we add Peptizide?

Wait until you get this current situation straightened out, or at

least three weeks.

For all 3 meals or just 1? He seemed ok with 1 cap for 2 meals and a

half cap for the other.

> He hit his sister with a pillow, and then HE had a tantrum??

Yes. It's like he can't control himself. He gets setup to do

something bad and we tell him not to and then he does it. Then he

gets upset because he doesn't want us to be angry and so he wants to

be held. We don't spank so its not like he gets some horrible

punishment. Lately we have been doing a 5 minute time out where we

don't talk to him but that takes a pretty serious offense like

hurting his 18 month old sister. It is very irrational and makes us

nuts. Instead of feeling remorse he wants comforted.

If he is okay with that, then do that.

This sounds like me when I was younger.

Might be both, it was for me.
