Guest guest
Okay I'm going to buy a trial size of one of these B Vitamin supplements to try on our 3 1/2 year old son (who has autism). He's moderate and since being on DMG has been talking so much more. It's been a blessing. I used to give Seth the Everday Vitamin to get his recommended minerals and vitamins, BUT NOW he can taste it or feel it on his tongue and REFUSES it. Since he has no variety in his diet (I do know about GFCF though), can you tell me which LIQUID form I should try? There are so many--Super NuThera WITH P5P or something, Super Nu thera, Just Nu-thera, you get the picture? Which one should I try? Thank you!!! I know to start SMALL because of hyperactivity which I do not NEED anymore of, ehe hee Thank you Sherri swhome247@...

Which one should I try? I never tried any. Some of the liquids are famouse for tasting terrible. Hopefully someone can give a referral or you can call the manufacturer and ask their advice, and perhaps try samples of any different flavors. If your son swallows capsules, you could break up one of the everyday and put it in an empty capsule. I do that because my kids will swallow stuff but don't like the taste of most things, and do not want anything in their food. .
Guest guest
We used Nu thera capsules and put that in juice with no problem. I also taught my 4 yea rold to swallow the small pill by putting it in apple sauce and then just giving her the whole bite. We now have switched to Brainchild Nutritionals Spectrum Support II. It mixes well with juice as well. This is liquid, though.

I would start with hypoallergenic NuThera and see if he tolerates it. If not, and you can't use EveryDay, then you might need to consider Animal Parade, or even a capsule vitamin that won't contain flavors etc. Or you can use No-Fenol, then try one of the vitamins. Were you considering that? Dana

Guest guest
We have used Brainchild for over 3 years. It's been amazing for us, and he's doing very well. Still dx'd autistic, but in a regular 4th grade doing grade level work. Also not rigid, has no real behavior problems, really a great kid to hang with, although still very odd. Without the brainchild supps, he's much more autistic-seeming, and I don't think he'd be able to attend a regular class at all, the difference is that big for us. You should know that due to demand, sometimes it can be difficult to get Brainchild supps. You may want to give them a call every week until you get them, just to make sure you're one of the 'squeaky' wheels. Guest guest
If you look ingredient to ingredient it does not even compare to Brainchild's product. (I did the research and even talked to Kirkmans) . He is in California- call him first thing ion the morning. I, too received my refill/ order within two weeks time. I have not had a problem with him since he relocated in November. He is looking for investors to expand his business. He says he personally cannot be the chemist and the businessman. I have also done some other research and heard that Kirkmans has attempted to buy out Lang for the patent to his product. However, would have to give up his " baby " to them which he refuses to do. Oh well- hopefully it will all work out. I would just try to always re-order a month ahead- Keri

I ordered last July and have received nothing even though my credit card was charged the day I ordered. Have called, written, finally filed a complaint. How squeaky does one have to be? I just want a refund for product we never received. I would never recommend this product because even if it worked for a child the parent probably couldn't get a refill. I do believe Kirkman's is making a similar product now although we haven't tried it. --- In , Terri <tmykland@m...> wrote: > We have used Brainchild for over 3 years. Guest guest
For my 18 year old son, we are using for now, Super Nuthera with the green apple flavor and p5p. He is not hyperactive nor does he stim, so Super Nuthera does not bother him in this manner. It helps him because it has 3 kinds of oral sulfates, which he really needs. He is doing well with topical epsom salts, which he has only received for about a week and no chlorine in his bath; but, I am going to give him more time for the epsom salts to get in his system, and for him to have more sulfation from this route, before switching to Kirkman's hypoallergenic super nuthera capsules. He tried the trial size container of the Kirkman's hypoallergenic super nuthera capsules, and I really liked these capsules for him. They mixed very well in everything and did not taste bad at all. I don't want to take him off the liquid Super Nuthera that has the sulfates in it yet, as I think he still needs the support from the sulfates that are in there. We tried Brainchild Spectrum II Nutritionals, but, somehow, the small amount of NAC in there made his nose run continually. I stopped the Brainchild vitamins but have kept on giving him the Brainchild minerals. The runniness from his nose has improved. Rose, If the epsom salts are working well, you may also want to try Kirkman's magnesium sulfate cream. It's inexpensive and we have found it effective. We use it in the morning and give an epsom salts bath in the evening. Also, how do you ensure there is no chlorine in his bathwater?
