Wow! Good news!

suggestions for improvement.

Terri, I wanted to get the Minerals only now offered (which by the

way I am glad is offered separately because it looks just like the

blend I have been looking for), but there isn't an 'order' button

for just that. How to order it?

Also, could you explain the difference in the Intestimend and the

Herbathione for detox? My guess is the first heals the gut, and the

second gets the junk out. Maybe you could say how the detox is

supposed to work?

Also, I see Brainchild's now carries Candex, but $60 seems pretty

steep for 90 capsules...particularly since No-Fenol is just $25 for

90. Even if you bought No-Fenol and Zyme Prime together it would

only be about $45 dollars plus you would get more enzymes activity

from the Houston combo. Any comment?

On the pricing page http://www.brainchildnutritionals.com/Pricingx.html, if

you look just to the left of where it says " Spectrum Support Minerals

Only " , you'll see a dark blue " Add to Cart " button. If you click on it, a

bottle of minerals will be added to your order. Somebody check this out

and tell me if it works for you. It appears to work when I try it. Then

if you want more bottles, just change the quantity from " 1 " to however many.

Well, the Intestimend is definitely meant to help heal the gut. It

contains glucosamine and chondroitin and MSM, stuff like that that's

supposed to help in healing tissue and help with sulfation too.

The Herbathione is essentially the herb tincture that is added to both

Spectrum Support II and III vitamins, along with some glycerine and agave

for sweetening. And it's, um, herbs. I mean, could give you

chapter and verse of what each herb is supposed to help with, but I'm not

that well versed in each one, just that they're selected, as the whole

formula is, to support metabolic, neurological and immune function and

sulfation, of course. I think that feels that some of the kids

could benefit from more of the " herb " function of the supplements, and that

maybe some of the very sensitive ones that can't take the whole Spectrum

Support mixture could take a little of this and get some support from

it. When I was catching every cold that was coming along this spring, he

handed me a bottle of this and I started taking it, and I definitely think

it helped boost my immune function. Sorry this answer's not that

technical. I will try to shake down for more details on the herbs

when I see him. The herbs in it are: Ashwaganda Root, Burdock Root,

Chinese Astragalus Root, Fennel Seed, Gingko Leaf, Gotu Kola Leaf, Gymnema

Sylvestre Leaf, Milk Thistle Seed, Chinese Sarsaparilla Root, Schisandra

Fruit, and beet-derived ascorbic acid.

I'll try to learn more and come back with a more technical discussion of

these two supplements for you. and I are still working on

" dumping " more important stuff about the supps from his brain to mine (as

in, help, my brain is full!).

Only to agree with you that it seems pricey. It's supposed to be a really

unique enzyme formulation that eats the cell walls of the yeast. All I can

say is that is really impressed with it, but haven't tried it

myself, so don't know. If you look at the Candex website, you'll see that

they have it listed for $59 for 60 caps, so I guess that's the going

rate. ly, for myself, at this point, I'm sticking with my standard

rotation of antifungals (4 days each, GSE, Biocidin, Uva Ursi, from time to

time) which is much cheaper and seems to keep the beasties down pretty good

for me. If I had a serious overgrowth, I might consider the Candex as a

" big gun " to add to these to help kick it. Oh, I know, one other thought

on it... for really sensitive kids who can't tolerate GSE, Biocidin, etc

because of the phenols, I suppose Candex might be something more easily

tolerated. I'll let you know if I hear more about it or talk to parents

who've used it. It's a new product for us at this point.
