it gave me migraine...

that was after taking it a while, from another comment it can impair

processing of long chain and very long chain fatty acids which is

something that could relate to migraine

also the picolinate may chelate useful metals on its way out...

it seems to go easily into the brain and may interfere with some

brain chemicals...

i don't think its something you want to take to long though maybe it

has a place for zinc loading

i'm not sure i will take it again...

it gave me migraine...

My husband has been taking zinc picolinate for a week now - it seems to be

helping the sleep issue and his mood and attention seem improved. After a couple

of days of taking 50mgs (2 pills) per day, then getting your post, , we've

reduced it to 1 25mg pill per day. He's not prone to migraines and if he doesn't

get this side effect, do you think it would be OK to continue with it? Or should

we change to zinc methionine or chelated zinc?

You said " it seems to go easily into the brain and may interfere with some

brain chemicals... " which ones and what would happen as a result (apart from

migraines)?

Thanks for any thoughts
