Hi

Thats what I do, 1/2 cap for 2 days then leave it a week or give when I think

there might be issue. He does well on CP1 and BioKult which he gets daily.

Hi Juli,

We too, were just prescribed the Miralax and had to stop. After posting

about it and getting such terrible feedback, I'd say, don't do it. Save

yourself the $50 and go another route. It caused severe stomach issues,

on top of the ones Olivia was already having and I just say, yuk. If you

haven't already, read the posts, I think the subject lines were all HELP

no poops here or something to that effect, it'll give you an idea of what

Miralax is all about. Thank heavens for this list, I'd be completely

lost without it or worse, my kid could be in even worse shape than she is

now!

Good luck to you, I know it sucks.

Hi Debbi,

I remember you saying that not too long ago. I was wondering if I could

give it to her just a few times a week and still get some benefit.

Thanks Rhonda. I gave her some benefiber today and might pick her up a

bottle of Kondremul, something we used in the past to get things sliding (:

Still not sure whether or not to keep giving the Culturelle as another

parent said it constipated her son.

> Hi,

14 and 106 lbs. this past week. Coincidentally, she has been having

stomach discomfort off and on all week.

This can be bacteria die off, or intolerance to the Culturelle.

>> I took her to the doctors this

morning and he told me he could feel alot of stool in her abdomen area

and prescribed Mirolax for her constipation

Read my message on Miralax from a day or so ago, I put that word in

the subject header.

Dear Dana,

Even though I took the prescription from the doctor, I had no intention

of using this product on my daughter. Luckily I saw your (?) posting on this

and it made me sick. I just upped her dose of benefiber and we got things

moving. Thanks.

Oh by the way, does activated charcoal help remove the toxins from the

body after a probiotic like it does for yeast removal?

I have done that, taken a prescription with no intention of filling

it!

Good.

I have never used it, but from what I have heard from others, it

absorbs die off toxins. I don't believe it matters how the die off

was effected. You would give charcoal about 30-45 minutes after your

yeast treatment, and it would absorb any toxins that were created.

Dear Dana,

I know the activated charcoal helps with yeast die-off. I was wondering

if I should use it after I give a dose of the Culturelle...would it

pull bacteria from her intestines and flush it out?

Thanks,

I don't know, but it is probably worth a try.
