Guest guest
Debbie, Yes, I do plan to continue the ALA. I will try more like 2.5-3 hr schedule and will halve the dose. DMSA was rough, too. I was okay at 10mg, but when I increased to 20 I had trouble. The DMSA experience has improved over a few months, and last round I actually felt good on it. I added ALA just on my current round. Did you post about your scary experience with DMSA? I don't keep up with all the posts... It must be so hard with a child. It is hard enough with myself, as I've had scary reactions to medicines over the years, and I think twice before trying anything new. If it were my child, I'd be thinking a lot more than twice. I wish I could be more helpful. I know I did a lot better with DMSA after starting adrenal support - but seems like people need different things and it's hard sometimes to know what your child needs. Keep thinking and hoping, though. I know for myself that keeping an eye on the goal, even when there's an obstacle, helps me to eventually find a way to go forward. -- > In all but I think the very last round, we were doing every 3 hours during > day, every 4 at night.
