Guest guest
Mesa, a Greek restaurant on Chestnut Street near Divisadero in San Francisco, is a good choice for GF food. This is a homey, white-tablecloth place that encourages "family-style" sharing of its dishes. The menu isn't GF, so cross-contamination could occur. However, they take one's needs seriously, and few of their dishes include gluten items. Sauces and such rarely, if ever, contain wheat. I've eaten there many times over three or four years without any reaction. They're pleasant people, they serve fresh, well-made food, and they have an attractive wine list. H.
