Guest guest
A pithy quote from (1). EDCs = Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals. The quote reminds me of a CDC comment during the Simpsonwood conference, We should never have studied thimerosal's adverse effects. We knew what we'd find (2). " Skeptics of human impacts of EDCs have repeatedly claimed that 'we have decades of experience with X or Y and there is no evidence of harm in people.' The flaw in that argument is that the relevant human studies haven't been done; they are confusing absence of data with proof of safety. Now that epidemiologists are using animal data to guide their research, we have direct contradictions of those assertions. " 1. In 1999, CDC found significant associations between thimerosal injections and a range of neurologic problems including but not limited to ADHD, sleep disorders, tics, language problems and autism.
