They are NOT the only wireless network doing this. They are offering FREE Amber alerts for any subscriber with text messaging. This is a FREE service. Anyone who has a cell phone with text messaging will get this service FREE as a contribution to Amber Alerts. Anyone interested can go to https://www.wirelessamberalerts.org/index.jsp Other wireless carries are also offering this. I just registered and I am with US Cellular.
