Guest guest
When I was in college, a few years ago, a couple of fraternity brothers and I went to Ft. Lauderdale for spring break we drove straight thru from columbus to lauderdale stopping only for gas, peeing and and quarts of ThunderBird wine (whats the price? We pretty much subsisted on ThundrBird and beer and I started to notice my stools were white.....you haven't been nipping at the old white wine have you Harper? If you changed to red I think you'll get some color back. Seriously, you are right, pale stools are indicative of liver and specifically biliary disease. love jerry
Guest guest
I totally agree to take it slow. Since starting coconut oil, my die-off is very bothersome. I was using it as lotion all over my body not realizing that it was absorbing into my bloodstream and it does contain " caprylic acid " which BEE agree'd is an anti-fungal in addition to other things and will cause a die-off reaction. I also am going to stop my ACV for a while and see if that was a culprit as well. best of health,
Guest guest
The other day I passed several stools that had a white coating on them. It was about 3/4 of the way covered so you could see that the stool underneath was brown. It was kind of fuzzy or textured. Was that candida? I have really upped my coconut oil intake a bit (from 3 TBP to 5-7) lately. That and a low carb diet. At first I felt like major crap for the first couple of days and now I feel really good after a couple of weeks. I never added any thing other than vitamins, water, coconut oil, and occasional caffeine enema to my diet as probiotics etc. just was too much for me. I am all for taking the slower and easier way to getting rid of candida. It is hard to believe when Bee tells you to go this route as you want to hurry up the healing but you will get there and you won't be so wiped out as you would by adding everything in at once. Jeanne -------------- Original message -------------- Hi Abe, About pale stools - you will find they will change to normal as you incorporate all aspects of the diet I recommend, especially high animal meats (for the protein and oil soluble vitamins), and high " good " fat such as coconut oil, with less carbs. Animal meats and fats keep your liver functioning properly by stimulating bile production and a complete emptying of the gall bladder which is healthy and will change your stool color to a more normal brown color. Have you double-checked your diet against the one I recommend - not all candida diets are equal and most are missing, or include, very important aspects. I wish you the best Abe. Keep us informed as to what you find out about your diet and how you progress. The best in health, Bee
Guest guest
Where can I find your recommended diet? I'm still working on my diet. I do eat a fair bit of chicken, fish, and occasional beef. I have been doing some online research and found something about Lipase? Anyone know if there is an enzyme that deals with fat absorbtion or chronic pale yellow stools? TIA! Guest guest
Are you using " Darifree " ? This milk sub causes yellow stools and after trying just about everything else, we finally figured this out. Like magic, taking it out the next day, we were back to the regular color. If not, it could indicate a liver problem and you should probably consider Milk Thistle. -Jenni <stephanie.scott@...> wrote: I would like to know as well as my 4 y/o has the stools you describe. pale stools My son has pale yellow mushy stools. Guest guest
Hmmm that is interesting too because we are using dari free...not consistently though. A liver problem is a concern of mine. Guest guest
You can buy it in liquid form from your local HFS (I get it at Wholefoods) or you can by it in capsule form - open and pour powder in a drink. I don't think it has much of a taste. Kelli ston <Kelliston@...> wrote: Hmmm that is interesting too because we are using dari free...not consistently though. A liver problem is a concern of mine. Guest guest
We had pale stools here too when we did DariFree. They stopped, at least for my daughter, when we took it out of her siet. Guest guest
> Anyone know if there is an enzyme that deals with fat absorbtion or > chronic pale yellow stools? My kids' bms were pale until I added back wheat into their diet. As mentioned, Dairy-Free can also cause this. So it might be a result of what they eat. It can also mean improper fat absorption. Lipase can help. On this page [in the section about EFAs] is what my son needed for fat absorption http://www.danasview.net/mar05.htm Dana
Guest guest
My son's stools darkened considerably when I added (per Andy Cutler's suggestion) Taurine and Phosphatidyl Choline to increase bile production and magnesium to relax the duct so that the bile could flow through. In my son's case, the pale stool was a function of inadequate bile. Lottner
